The Mall Washington’s ‘The Mall’ is generally regarded to run from Lincoln Memorial to the base of Capitol Hill and houses many of the Nation’s most significant museums and monuments as well as the White House, home of the President. |

Capitol Hill The US Capitol Building is the home of the US Congress and is the western border of The Washington DC Capitol Hill district. Much of this area is a listed historic district and it is one of the oldest & most densely populated. |

Downtown Washington DC The Washington Downtown area encompasses most of the business district and is located directly to the north of the Whitehouse and National Mall. It contains an abundance of pubs, bars and restaurants as well as Washington’s major convention center. |

Dupont Circle Dupont Circle is a historic neighbourhood located in the heart of Washington DC and is home to many museums, art galleries and foreign embassies. It also is home to many trendy restaurants, bars and retail outlets. |

Penn Quarter Washington’s Penn Quarter neighbourhood lies directly to the north of the National Mall and to the east of Downtown. It is an entertainment and corporate area centered on the Verizon Center arena with numerous bars, restaurants & theatres. |

Logan Circle / Shaw The Washington neighborhoods around Shaw & Logan Circle are located in the north central region of Washington. They are home to Little Ethiopia & are renowned for their African-American heritage, jazz clubs great bars & marvellous food. |

West End Washington’s West End is a district located on the western side of Downtown Washington and is home to many national embassies as well as numerous prestigious hotels. The area has an upmarket but emerging dining and nightlife scene. |
